Dear Friends,

This is another issue of “Videosurgery and Other Miniinvasive Techniques” released during the coronavirus pandemic. I believe that this will be the last one during this bad period. We are all hungry for live meetings. We believe that the planned conferences for the second half of the year will take place in the form expected by all. I hope that one of these meetings will be the 70th Jubilee Congress of the Society of Polish Surgeons, to which we cordially invite you.
The “Videosurgery and Other Miniinvasive Techniques” team, as always, invites everyone to actively participate in the life of “Videosurgery and Other Miniinvasive Techniques”. We encourage you to submit scientific papers. At the moment, we are placing great emphasis on the publication of papers in the form of meta-analyses.
This volume, as usual, is full of interesting publications in various fields of videosurgery. The dominant topics are colorectal surgery and hernia surgery. There are also articles in the field of thoracic surgery, interventional radiology, and urology. Please note that we have stopped accepting manuscripts in the fields of neurosurgery, ENT, orthopaedics, and cardiosurgery.
Instead, we are launching a discussion forum entitled “Clinical forum”, in which, in a very short format not exceeding 1–2 pages, we intend to publish your interesting cases, comments, letters, or opinions in discussions on various clinical problems. I believe that this discussion platform will become an active part of “Videosurgery and Other Miniinvasive Techniques”’s life.
Hoping the next editorial will be written in more normal times, I wish you all a quick return to normality, as well as a real rest in the upcoming holidays.
